Communication Solutions for Flood Disasters
![]()
Introduction of the project
Quickly set up self-organizing network radio stations at flood disaster sites, establish emergency communication networks, connect unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipment and emergency radio stations, and use UAVs to achieve aerial relay to ensure signal coverage in the disaster-stricken areas, ensuring real-time smooth voice, data and video communication between rescue teams and command centers. At the same time, through self-organizing network nodes, on-site disaster monitoring devices such as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) aerial photography equipment are linked to synchronously transmit real-time disaster images and data back. Public network satellites are also used to transmit disaster site data back to the rear command center, providing precise and visual information support for command and decision-making.
Advantages
- Break through the limitations of water accumulation and facility damage, and quickly establish a network
- Real-time transmission of disaster situation data by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
- Portable ad hoc network radios can be quickly deployed and are suitable for rapid network formation in emergency scenarios.
